Knowledge Organisers

All knowledge organisers have been built directly from official exam materials to ensure complete accuracy and relevance.

GCSE Knowledge Organisers

Each GCSE organiser includes all key terms for the relevant topic alongside a streamlined 'slim-line' core knowledge section — designed to present essential information clearly without overloading students.

A Level Knowledge Organisers

A Level organisers contain the main key terms with knowledge structured in the preferred writing frame format, making them directly useful for essay and extended answer preparation.

Printable Versions

Both GCSE and A Level organisers have dedicated printable versions — suitable for student revision sheets or teacher reference copies.

💡 Printable versions are optimised for A4 output — use your browser's print dialogue and select "Fit to page" for best results.

Writing Frames

Writing frames are built in for both the GCSE Question 9 and A Level Question 6 extended answer formats. All past paper questions are pre-loaded and ready to use, with the option to create custom questions for additional practice or assessment.

Saving & Continuing Work Later

Use the Export (Save Progress) function to download your current work as a file. To continue at a later date, simply use the Import function to reload the saved file and pick up exactly where you left off.

Submitting to Your Teacher

When work is complete and ready to hand in, use the Send to your teacher function. This will export your work as either a PDF or .txt document, which can then be emailed directly to your teacher.

👩‍🏫 For Teachers: The mark scheme is automatically displayed at the bottom of every question, making it quick and straightforward to mark work and provide targeted feedback to students.

Key Terms

The Key Terms bank contains a total of 777 terms383 GCSE and 394 A Level — each with a full definition. The list can be filtered by level, topic, or other criteria to help students and teachers focus on specific areas.

💡 Use the filters to narrow down terms when focusing on a particular set work, area of study, or topic for an upcoming assessment.

Key Term Testing

Ten built-in activity modes provide varied, low-stakes knowledge retrieval practice. All modes require genuine recall — none are purely passive or entertainment-based.

How to Use Effectively

A Random mode is available to vary the student experience and keep practice fresh. Activities use the same filters as the Key Terms bank, so they can be focused on a specific topic or left broad for general revision.

💡 Recommended for Starters, Do Nows, and Plenaries — quick to set up and immediately engaging.
📝 When testing A Level students, consider leaving GCSE terms active in the filter. This provides wider listening context and reinforces foundational knowledge alongside more advanced material.

Grade Calculators

The grade calculators are updated with all past grade boundaries, making them a reliable reference for both quick marking and grade estimation.

They can be used to quickly grade a piece of work against official boundaries, or to estimate the exam marks required to achieve a target grade based on a student's existing coursework marks.

👩‍🏫 Teacher use: Particularly useful when providing feedback on mock or coursework submissions — enter the student's marks and instantly see where they sit against grade boundaries.
